Ingredients

  • 50 g Sesame seed
  • 100 g Coconut flake
  • 150 g dried figs
  • 100 g dried dates
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1 untreated lemon

    Roast sesame and grated coconut in a pan without fat until light brown. Dice dried fruit very finely. Mix with sesame and grated coconut. Put sugar and lemon juice in a saucepan. Heat while stirring constantly until the sugar is caramelized golden brown. Stir in lemon zest and prepared mixture. Let it cool down a little and form small balls with wet hands
