Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Duck breast (approx. 350 g)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Teriyaki seasoning sauce for meat or soy sauce
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sesame
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Asian sauce "sweet and sour"
  • 2 (approx. 250 g) Carrots
  • 1 Spring onion
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

  1. 1

Wash the duck breast and pat dry. Spread with 3 tablespoons of seasoning sauce and let stand briefly

  2. 2

Roast sesame seeds in a coated pan without fat. Remove. Dab duck breast dry if necessary. Fry in the hot pan first on the skin side for 5-8 minutes, then on the meat side for 2-3 minutes. Season. Fry over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, turning frequently.

  3. 3

Mix the asian sauce, 1 tablespoon of seasoning sauce and sesame seeds. Peel, wash and roughly chop the carrots. Clean, wash and chop the spring onion

  4. 4

Remove the duck breast, wrap in aluminium foil and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Steam carrots and spring onion in hot frying fat for 3-5 minutes. Cut open duck breast. Serve with vegetables and sauce. Kroepoek (crab bread) tastes good with it

  5. 5

Teriyaki seasoning sauce for meat has a fine garlic note. It is ideal for marinating and seasoning
