Pineapple Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 Pineapple (approx. 1 kg)
  • 3 red onions
  • 500 g Minced beef
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chili Flakes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 TEASPOONS Lime juice
  • 1 knife tip ground cumin
  • 2 red chillies

Directions

    Peel the pineapple and cut into 8 slices (each approx. 1.5 cm thick). Peel onions and cut 2 onions into rings. Chop 1 onion finely. Mix onion cubes, meat and chili flakes. Season with salt and pepper.

    Form four burgers from the mass. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the burgers for 6-8 minutes, turning them over. Remove and keep warm.

    Fry the pineapple in the frying fat in portions on each side for approx. 3 minutes, remove. Fry the onion rings in the frying fat for approx. 3 minutes, turning them over. Peel and chop the garlic for the guacamole. Cut avocados in half lengthwise, remove seeds.

    Remove the pulp from the peel with a tablespoon, puree with lime juice and garlic. Season to taste with salt, pepper and cumin.

    Clean and wash the chillies and cut them into fine rings. Spread 2 tablespoons of guacamole on 4 slices of pineapple and place the meat on top. Spread onions on top. Sprinkle with chilli and finish with remaining pineapple slices.

    Add the rest of the guacamole.
