Crusty-core bread with dips

Ingredients

  • 1 cube (42 g) Yeast
  • 1 package (1 kg) Baking mix "crusty bread"
  • 50 g Sesame
  • 50 g Sunflower seeds
  • 50 g Pumpkin seeds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour

Directions

    Pour 3/4 litres of lukewarm water into a large bowl. Crumble the yeast into it and dissolve it. Add the baking mixture and mix briefly with the dough hooks of the hand mixer at the lowest setting. Then knead at the highest setting for approx. 3 minutes to a smooth dough. Finally knead in sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place (according to the package 15 minutes!) for about 30 minutes.

    Knead dough on some flour again and form a ball. Cut off about 1/3 of the dough. Shape it into about 8 rolls. Shape the rest of the dough into an oblong or round loaf. Place the bread roll and loaf on two baking trays lined with baking paper. Cover them and let them rise in a warm place for another 30 minutes. (You can also put the loaf of bread in an oblong or round well-floured "bread basket" and let it rise in it). First, brush the bread rolls with water and sprinkle them with some seeds. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 4) for 15-20 minutes. Take out. Brush the bread loaf with water and sprinkle with seeds. (or turn the loaf out of the "bread basket" onto a baking tray lined with baking paper). Bake at the same temperature for about 10 minutes.

Brush the bread loaf with water and sprinkle with seeds. (or turn the loaf out of the "bread basket" onto a baking tray lined with baking paper). Bake at the same temperature for about 10 minutes. Then turn the temperature down (electric cooker: 200 °C/ circulating air: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) and bake for another 45 minutes. Let bread and rolls cool down
