Crunchy chocolate flakes (diabetics)

Ingredients

Servings: 30
  • 100 g Dark and milk chocolate (suitable for diabetics)
  • 2 cubes (50 g) white plate fat (e.g. palmine)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 100 g Cornflakes, unsweetened (available e.g. in health food shops)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Place a piece of aluminium foil on a baking tray or board and brush it thinly with oil. Break the whole chocolate into pieces or chop it roughly. Melt it with plate-grease in a hot water bath while stirring. Stir in cinnamon. Fold the cornflakes into the chocolate and turn until they are completely covered. Using 2 teaspoons, place about 30 heaps on the aluminium foil. Leave to dry in a cool place for at least 6 hours (preferably overnight)
