Mix lemon juice, vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Beat the oil into it
Wash the apple, quarter it. Core and cut into slices. Mix immediately with the salad dressing. Peel onion and cut into rings. Cut the gherkins into slices. Clean and wash the salad and pluck into bite-sized pieces. Mix everything with the salad dressing
Cut or slice the cheese into thin slices. Mix loosely into the salad. Arrange and possibly garnish with dill
- Instead of using vinegar, you can also mix the salad dressing with 2-3 tablespoons of brew from the gherkins. This will even make the sauce
slightly spicier and tastes less sour
- Gherkins are very small gherkins that you
may as well be replaced by larger ones
- It looks wafer-thin and particularly decorative: use a cheese slicer to remove fine slices from the cheese
