Ingredients

Servings: 5
  • 2 Bread roll (from the previous day)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 750 g mixed mince
  • 250 g Pork sausage
  • 2 Eggs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp With feta cheese & spring onions:
  • 75 g Feta cheese
  • 1 Spring onion
  • 2 stem(s) or 1 tsp thyme
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mit Bacon, Ananas & Gouda:
  • 4-5 discs Bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 1 Pineapple ring (canned)
  • 50 g Gouda in slices
  • 7-10 Tbsp With tomato & olives:
  • 1 medium sized tomato
  • 12-15 paprika-filled olives
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper
  • 4-5 Tsp Fresh cream

Directions

    Soak rolls in cold water. Peel and chop the onion. Squeeze the bread well. Knead both with minced meat, ground pork, eggs, salt, pepper and paprika. Form 12-15 meatballs. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the meatballs for 2-3 minutes on each side in portions. Place all meatballs on a baking tray after frying

    With feta cheese & spring onions:

    Coarsely crumble the cheese. Clean, wash and chop the spring onion. Wash thyme, remove leaves. Cover 4-5 meatballs with it

    With bacon, pineapple & gouda: Halve the bacon. Cut pineapple into pieces. Spread both with Gouda on another 4-5 meatballs

    With tomato & olives: Cut tomato and olives into slices. Place on remaining meatballs. Season with salt and pepper. Add 1 teaspoon crème fraîche to each

    Roast the meatballs in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for 15-20 minutes. Goes well with potato or coleslaw

    Drink: white wine or beer
