Ingredients

  • 6 Stem(s) Parsley
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 small chili pepper
  • 300 g Minced beef
  • 1 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 30 g Breadcrumbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Lemons

Directions

    Wash parsley, shake dry, pluck off leaves and chop finely. Peel onions and 1 clove of garlic and chop finely. Peel the second clove of garlic and cut into thin slices. Wash and clean the chilli pepper and cut it into thin slices

    Mix minced meat, egg yolk, breadcrumbs, half of the onion cubes, garlic cubes and chilli. Season with salt and pepper. Form small balls from the mixture. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the balls for 5-8 minutes, turning them over

    Wash, clean, quarter and seed the tomatoes. Cut the flesh into small cubes. Heat olive oil in a saucepan and sauté garlic slices in it. Add the rest of the onion cubes, tomatoes and lemon juice and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the meatballs and simmer again for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parsley
