Colorful pepper salad with feta cheese

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 red and yellow peppers (approx. 200 g each)
  • 1 green pepper (about 200 g each)
  • 125 g Spring onions
  • 4-5 Stem(s) Marjoram
  • 100 ml White wine vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 100 g black olives
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 8 very thin slices of baguette (approx. 6 g each)
  • 200 g Sheep's cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Marjoram

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the peppers into thin strips. Clean, wash and cut spring onions into rings. Wash marjoram, dab dry and pluck the leaves from the stalks. Mix vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Fold in 4 tablespoons of olive oil. Stir in marjoram.

    Mix the bell peppers, olives and spring onions, pour the vinaigrette over it and mix well, allow to soak. Meanwhile peel garlic and chop very finely. Heat the rest of the oil in a large pan, add the garlic, sauté briefly and fry the slices of bread briefly on each side. Remove from the pan and put aside. Pour the salad into a bowl, crumble the feta cheese over it and serve garnished with marjoram as desired
