Colorful cookie locomotive with tender

Ingredients

  • 1 Protein
  • 225 g Icing sugar
  • 18 (approx. 100 g) Ladyfingers
  • 29 (approx. 120 g) Leibnitz Butter Biscuits
  • 2 rectangular marshmellows approx. 17 x 11 cm (bacon sides; approx. à 125 g)
  • 2 large licorice coins
  • 3 round marshmallows
  • 8 (approx. 110 g) De Beukelaer Prinzenrolle biscuits
  • 2-3 Liquorice snails
  • 2 Currant tartlet with chocolate
  • 4 small licorice coins
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cotton wool
  • 2 packages (approx. 125 g) Hazelnuts in chocolate

Directions

    Beat egg whites until stiff. Stir in 200 g icing sugar until smooth. Take 1-2 tablespoons off completely and fill into a small freezer bag

    For the locomotive, prepare 12 ladyfingers and glue 2 of each on top of each other with icing. Put 2x3 pairs next to each other and glue them together. Then join the two blocks of three lengthwise to form blocks of 6

    Glue 6 Bahlsen butter biscuits on top

    Now cut a marshmallow a little narrower and stick it lengthwise on the butter biscuits. Cut the other marshmallow into a 6 cm wide and 14 cm long strip and cut a point at one corner. Stick the lace protruding on the 1st marshmallow. Stick a remaining strip behind the 1st marshmallow. Halve the remaining strips and put them aside

    Now stick a small plough from 2 butter cookies to the top of the locomotive. Glue 2 lamps from liquorice

    Glue together the cab made of butter biscuits - also use 4 butter biscuits as roof

    possibly support from below with biscuits!

    Stick strips of marshmallow on the roof and round marshmallows as chimney

    For the wheels 2x3 De Beukelaer biscuits side by side. Stick a fruit jelly sweet in the middle of each one. Wrap a liquorice snail and stick it around the sweets. Leave to dry. Then glue the wheels to the locomotive

    Open the rest of the liquorice screw and stick it to the edge of the roof. Glue 2 currant biscuits to the cab as windows

    For the tender, place only 3 double ladyfingers next to each other and stick 4 Bahlsen butter cookies on top. Glue the edge of the butter biscuits

    Stick 4 De Beukelaer biscuits as wheels and put a liquorice taler in the middle of each

    Cut a small corner from the freezer bag and decorate the finished locomotive and tender with icing as ice and snow

    Dust everything with icing sugar. Stick cotton wool on the chimney and let it dry

    Fill tender with hazelnuts in chocolate before giving away!
