Wash, stalk and stone the cherries. Weigh 225 g of flesh. Finely chop the chocolate. Place the cherries, jam sugar, red wine, lemon juice and kirsch in a tall container. Puree finely with a chopping stick. Stir in chocolate
Fill the fruit spread into sterile jars with screw cap, screw tight. Can be kept refrigerated for approx. 14 days
