Finely dice the ginger. Cream fat, sugar and vanillin sugar. Stir in eggs one after the other. Add milk. Mix flour, pudding powder and baking powder and stir everything in briefly. Finally fold in 3/4 of the ginger cubes and chocolate drops. Using a tablespoon, place 9 piles of dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Sprinkle with remaining ginger cubes and chocolate drops, press down slightly and bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / gas: level 3) for 20-25 minutes. Let cool on a cake rack. Coarsely chop the chocolate coating and melt on a hot water bath. Put the couverture into a small freezer bag and cut off a small corner. Decorate Americans with chocolate coating strips. Let it dry. Results in 9 pieces
