Chocolate Banana Fondue

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 4 medium-sized bananas
  • 1 Lemon
  • 350 g Grapes
  • 1 jar(s) (850 ml; separation weight: 500 g) Pineapple
  • 1 (370 ml; drained weight: 185 g) small glass of sour cherries
  • 100 g Marshmallows
  • 75 g chopped hazelnuts
  • 75 g Coconut flake
  • 50 g colourful sugar pearls
  • 200 g Semi-bitter and whole milk couverture
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 1 package (48 g) Ice cream waffles

Directions

    Bananas peel and in approx. 1/2 cm thick slices. Halve the lemon and squeeze the juice. Sprinkle banana slices with the lemon juice. Wash the grapes and let them drip off on a sieve.

    Pluck the grapes from the stems. Drain pineapple rings and cut into small bite-sized pieces. Drain the cherries as well. Arrange banana slices, grapes, pineapple pieces and cherries on a plate.

    Arrange marshmallows, hazelnuts, grated coconut and sugar pearls in small bowls. Cut the chocolate coating into large pieces. Pour the milk into a fondue pot and warm it up at low heat. Do not boil ! Add the couverture to the milk and melt.

    Fondue pot on a burner. At the table, skewer either a piece of fruit or marshmallow onto a fondue fork. Dip it into the chocolate, let it drip off a little and decorate as you like with coconut flakes, nuts or sugar pearls.

    Crispy ice cream wafers taste good with it.
