Ingredients

  • 1 Chinese cabbage (about 1,2 kg)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, cayenne pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 300 g mixed mince
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 3-4 Tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 7-10 Tbsp possibly 1 knife tip
  • 7-10 Tbsp "Five-Spice Powder"
  • 1 can(s) Pineapple (446 m)
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 100 g frozen peas
  • 7-10 Tbsp 150 m "Asia spice sauce sweet-sour" (bottle)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Ketchup
  • 12 wooden skewers

Directions

    Remove 24 leaves from the cabbage, wash and cut the ribs flat. Blanch the leaves in boiling salted water for about 1 minute, drain. Rest of cabbage for other uses

    Peel and chop the onion. Knead minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs and onion. Season with salt, cayenne pepper and spice powder

    Drain the pineapple, collect the juice. Place 2 cabbage leaves next to each other, overlapping. Put some minced meat on each, roll up and pin. Fry the rolls in hot oil all around. Deglaze with 1/8 l water, pineapple juice and soy sauce. Add the peas. Bring to the boil and braise for about 8 minutes

    Cut the pineapple into small pieces. Add the Asian spice sauce and ketchup to the rolls and braise for another 5 minutes. Season to taste again. Goes well with rice
