Wash chicken legs and pat dry. Brush with oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ circulating air: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 40 minutes. In the meantime drain the apricots. Peel garlic and chop finely. Mix Sambal Oelek with garlic.
Finely chop the apricots in a universal chopper. Mix with honey. Spread about half of the legs with the chilli-garlic marinade about 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Spread the rest of the legs with the apricot-honey-marinade. Arrange chicken legs with salad leaves on a plate
