  • 500 g Sour cherries
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp untreated orange peel
  • 1/2 Cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 l Whisky (40 Vol. %)

Directions

    Wash the cherries and drain well. Then remove the stalks and pit

    Mix cherries and sugar. Pour into a sealable glass. Add orange peel and cinnamon stick if necessary. Cover with whisky. Close the jar and let it steep for at least 3-4 days. Stir more often

    Shelf life 6-9 months
