Cheese roll on pumpernickel

Ingredients

  • 1 big tomato
  • 1/2 bunch Chives
  • 100 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 2 large, thin slices of Gouda cheese (approx. 60 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 3 discs Pumpernickel
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp Clear film

Directions

    Wash, quarter, seed and finely dice the tomato. Wash the chives and cut into fine rolls. Mix cream cheese and chives, up to 1 tablespoon

    Remove the rind from the cheese slices and spread with the cream cheese. Sprinkle with diced tomatoes, except for some for garnishing. Season with some pepper. Roll up cheese slices and wrap them tightly in foil. Chill for about 30 minutes.

    Quarter pumpernickel diagonally. Cut cheese rolls into 12 slices. Put 1 slice on 1 piece of pumpernickel. Distribute on 4 plates. Sprinkle with tomato cubes and remaining chives. Garnish with parsley if necessary.
