Red wine jelly with cherries

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 6 sheets white gelatine
  • 1 glass (720 ml) Sour cherries
  • 1/8 l Red wine or grape juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few drops of vanilla flavour or 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 7-10 Tbsp some mint

Directions

    Soak gelatine in cold water for about 5 minutes. Place the cherries on a sieve and drain well. Collect the cherry juice

    Warm up cherry juice, red wine and vanilla aroma. Squeeze the gelatine and dissolve in the liquid while stirring. Season to taste with sugar and allow to cool slightly

    Arrange the cherries in 4 dessert glasses. Sprinkle with the jelly liquid. Leave to set in the fridge for approx. 4 hours

    In the meantime, whip the whipped cream and some sugar until stiff and fill into a piping bag with star-shaped spout

    Spray cream as a blob on the jelly and dust with a little cinnamon. Decorate as desired with mint leaves
