Cheese and onion cake

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Vegetable onion (150 g)
  • 1 collar Spring onions
  • 100 g lean smoked streaky bacon
  • 100 g Gouda cheese
  • 2 packs (32 cm Ø each; refrigerated shelf) Pizza dough rolled out round on baking paper
  • 150 g Fresh cream
  • 100 g Gorgonzola cheese

Directions

    Peel and slice the onion. Clean, wash and cut the spring onions into rings. Cut bacon into fine strips. Grate the gouda. Unroll dough and place on two baking trays with baking paper.

    Spread the crème fraîche on the dough and cover with onion, bacon and both cheeses. Bake one cake (both in convection oven: 250 °C/ convection oven: 225 °C/ gas: level 5) in the preheated oven (electric oven: 250 °C/ convection oven: 225 °C/ gas: level 5) for about 10 minutes.

    Remove the finished cake from the oven, transfer it to a wooden board with the baking paper and cut it into pieces with a pizza cutter and serve. Bake the second cake in the same way.
