Ingredients

  • 600 g waxy potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 500 g Carrots
  • 1 Stalk leek (leek)
  • 60 g Butter or margarine
  • 60 g Flour
  • 1 TABLESPOON Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 750 ml Milk
  • 100 g young Gouda cheese
  • 1 TEASPOON Oil
  • 400 g mixed minced meat
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 collar Marjoram
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Wash the potatoes and cook in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes. Clean, peel and wash the carrots. Clean, wash and cut the leek into pieces of about 10 cm length. Blanch carrots and leek in boiling salted water for about 4 minutes. Drain, put into cold water and let it drain in a sieve. Cut carrots lengthwise into fine strips. Cut leek lengthwise in half and divide into leaves.

    Drain potatoes, rinse and peel. Cut potatoes into slices. Melt the fat in a pot. Add flour, stir in vegetable stock. Add milk while stirring, bring to the boil. Grate cheese. Add half to the sauce. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the minced meat in it. Season with salt and pepper. Chop the marjoram leaves (keep some for garnishing) and add to the sauce. Grease a casserole dish. Spread some sauce on the bottom.

Cover with half of the leek, put sauce on top again and layer half of the minced meat. Repeat and finish with potatoes and sauce. Sprinkle the rest of the Gouda on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 30 minutes. Cut into pieces, arrange on plates and serve garnished with remaining marjoram

Cover with half of the leek, put sauce on top again and layer half of the minced meat. Repeat and finish with potatoes and sauce. Sprinkle the rest of the Gouda on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 30 minutes. Cut into pieces, arrange on plates and serve garnished with remaining marjoram
