Butter and potato dumplings with crust

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 250 g Potatoes
  • 1 package (1 kg) ready dumpling dough for "raw dumplings
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 4 TABLESPOONS clarified butter
  • 1 Stalk parsley

Directions

    Wash, peel and coarsely grate the potatoes. Mix potato dumpling dough and grated potatoes. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Form dough into dumplings and fry in clarified butter until golden brown. Wash parsley, shake dry and pluck leaves from the stalk.

    Shortly before the end of cooking time pull parsley through the hot lard and serve with the dumplings.
