Bratwurst with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes (diabetics)

Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp ingredients
  • 7-10 Tbsp for 1 person
  • 7-10 Tbsp :
  • 200 g cleaned Brussels sprouts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 10 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 1 (25 g) peeled onion
  • 3 (approx. 100 g) Nuremberger bratwursts
  • 60 ml Milk
  • 30 g Mashed potato flakes (from the package)
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg

Directions

    Place the Brussels sprouts in slightly boiling salted water and cook over a low heat for 15-20 minutes

    Dice the bacon. In a pan without fat crisply leave out. Remove bacon

    Cut onion into rings. Add the sausages to the frying fat and fry on a medium heat for 5-7 minutes

    Place 8 tablespoons of water, milk and 1 pinch of salt in a pot and bring to the boil. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the puree powder with a whisk. Season to taste with nutmeg

    Drain the Brussels sprouts well and mix with the bacon. Arrange sausages, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts on a plate. Sprinkle with onion and serve
