Braised cucumber pan with meatballs

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 400 g Pork sausage
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper, salt, sugar
  • 2 (approx. 800 g) Gherkins
  • 5 ripe tomatoes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1/2-1 TEASPOON Vegetable broth
  • 200-250 g short macaroni
  • 1/2 bunch Dill

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onions. Knead the mince with half the onions and pepper. Form approx. 20 dumplings from the mixture. Wash the cucumbers, peel if necessary, cut into quarters, remove seeds and dice. Wash and dice the tomatoes.

    Heat the oil in a large pan with a lid. Fry the meatballs until crispy brown all around. Remove

    Fry the rest of the onion in hot frying fat. Add tomatoes and cucumbers and fry briefly. Add 4-5 tablespoons of water and broth. Season with salt, pepper and some sugar. Add the meatballs. Bring everything to the boil, cover and stew for about 8 minutes

    Meanwhile cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes. Wash and finely chop the dill and stir into the cucumber pan. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Drain the noodles. Serve everything
