Blackberry and apple jam

Ingredients

  • 650 g Blackberries
  • 750 g sour apples
  • 500 g Extra gelling sugar

Directions

    Select the blackberries, wash carefully and drain well. Then weigh exactly 625 g. Puree with the cutting stick of the hand mixer. Wash and peel apples. Then quarter, core and cut into small pieces.

    Then weigh exactly 625 g as well. Put the fruits into a saucepan. Stir the sugar into the fruit mass and bring to the boil over a low heat, stirring constantly. Let everything boil for 3 minutes.

    Fill jam into prepared jars. Close immediately with preserving cellophane and rubber ring. Makes 4-5 jars of 375 ml capacity each.
