Berry Cherry Groats

Ingredients

  • 500 g Fruits (e.g. cherries, raspberries,
  • 7-10 Tbsp red and black currants) or TK mixed fruits 1/2 l red currant juice
  • 20-30 g Cornstarch
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar, cinnamon
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp fruit and wafer rolls rolled in sugar
  • 200 g Whipped cream

Directions

    Wash and stone the cherries. Raspberries may be washed and sorted. Wash and drain the currants and remove them from the stalks with a fork

    Mix 5 tablespoons of juice and starch until smooth. Boil up the rest of the juice, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice in a pot. Stir in the starch and bring to the boil again

    Add fruit to the groats and fold in. Allow to cool slightly and pour into portion bowls or a large bowl. Leave to cool completely

    Decorate the groats with sugared fruit and wafer rolls before serving. Serve with liquid cream
