Basil tomatoes on toasted bread

Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1/2 bunch/pot of basil
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Capers (glass)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Balsamic vinegar
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1/2 Ciabatta or baguette bread

    Wash the tomatoes, quarter them, remove the seeds and cut them into fine cubes. Peel and chop garlic. Wash basil and cut into fine strips, except for something to garnish. Mix everything with capers, vinegar and

    Mix 2 tablespoons of oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper

    Cut bread into about 8 slices. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a wide frying pan and fry the bread slices in it until golden brown on each side. If necessary, let them drip off on kitchen paper. Pile the tomato mixture on top. Garnish with the rest of the basil
