  • 7-10 Tbsp ingredients
  • 8 (450 g) Apfelbananen
  • 30 g soft butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 package (6 g) grated lemon peel
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 100 g crushed almonds
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 125 g Icing sugar
  • 30 g dried banana chips
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and breadcrumbs

Directions

    Peel 6 bananas and mash them finely with a fork. Cream banana puree, butter, sugar, lemon peel and vanilla sugar. Stir in eggs. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in by the spoonful.

    Add milk and almonds. Cut the remaining bananas into slices and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Carefully fold the bananas into the dough. Grease a box form (30 cm long) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

    Pour in the dough. Bake in the preheated oven (electric range: 175 ° C/ gas: level 2) for 1 hour. Remove the cake, let it rest for a while and turn it onto a cake rack. Let it cool down. Stir icing sugar in remaining lemon juice until smooth and let it flow over the cake.

    Roughly chop the banana chips and sprinkle them into the moist icing. Results in 18 -20 pieces.
