Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 200 g Long grain rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 large green peppers
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 400 g mixed mince
  • 1 TEASPOON Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 4-5 Stem(s) Marjoram
  • 150 g Sheep or feta cheese
  • 200 g creamy yoghurt

Directions

    Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Peel onion and garlic and dice finely. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into strips.

    Heat the oil in a pot. Fry the minced meat until crumbly. Add onion, garlic and paprika and fry for 2-3 minutes. Deglaze with 3⁄8 l water, bring to the boil and stir in the broth. Simmer for about 5 minutes.

    Wash the marjoram, shake dry and chop. Mix rice into the minced meat. Crumble cheese over it and fold in marjoram. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with the yoghurt.
