Baked tomato bread

Ingredients

  • 1-2 TEASPOONS frozen herb mix
  • 3 Tomatoes (about 80 g each)
  • 1 package (390 g; weight reduction 200 g) Maxi-Mozzarella
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Butter or margarine
  • 8 discs dark grain bread (à approx. 60 g)
  • 1 package (150 g) wafer-thin slices of cooked ham
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chive rolls

Directions

    Let the herbs thaw a little. In the meantime clean, wash and slice the tomatoes. Drain mozzarella and cut into slices. Mix fat and herbs and spread on the slices of bread.

    Place ham, tomato and mozzarella slices on top. Season with salt and pepper. Place the slices of bread on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 10 minutes. Serve sprinkled with chive rolls
