Baked apple with marzipan & vanilla sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 package Powdered sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp "Vanilla flavored"
  • 7-10 Tbsp some cinnamon, 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 l milk, 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 100 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 50 g ground hazelnuts
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 4 medium-sized apples (e.g. Boskop)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter
  • 1 TABLESPOON Hazelnut flakes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar

Directions

    Mix sauce powder, cinnamon, sugar and 6 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Boil up the rest of the milk. Stir in sauce powder and bring to the boil again briefly. Let cool down

    Wash the raisins. Coarsely grate the marzipan. Knead with raisins, ground nuts and egg

    Core the apples with an apple corer, cut off the lid. Fill the apples with the marzipan mixture and place the lids on top. Put them in a casserole dish. Spread butter in flakes on top

    Bake apples in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for 20-25 minutes. Roast nut flakes without fat. Arrange apples with some sauce and nut flakes. Dust with icing sugar and cinnamon. Add the rest of the sauce

    Those who cannot tolerate hazelnuts can use almonds or walnuts instead
