Baked apple casserole with quark and semolina topping and crispy crumble

Ingredients

  • 8 small apples (about 100 g each)
  • 105 g Butter
  • 2 TABLESPOONS + 175 g sugar
  • 150 g Flour
  • 1 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 1 package Cream pudding powder Semolina
  • 500 g Low-fat curd
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Wash the apples, dab dry and prick out the core. Place apples in a greased casserole dish. Add butter in flakes and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Pre-bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes. Knead the flour, 75 g butter, egg yolk, 75 g sugar, vanillin sugar and 1 pinch of salt into crumbles and chill. Separate 4 eggs. Stir egg yolks and 100 g sugar until creamy.

    Stir in semolina and quark. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Take apples out of the oven. Pour curd mixture over them and spread the crumbles on top. Bake in the oven at the same temperature for 40-45 minutes. Take out and dust with icing sugar
