Asian Chinese cabbage salad with Sambal Oelek vinaig

Ingredients

  • 1 Chinese cabbage (about 1,2 kg)
  • 1 Stalk leek (leek)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 250 g Carrots
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Honey
  • 1 coated Tsp Sambal Oelek
  • 8 discs Lachsfilet (ca. 75 g)
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 50 g Radish sprouts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Clean and wash the Chinese cabbage and leek. Cut Chinese cabbage into strips, leek into fine rings. Put briefly into boiling salted water and blanch. Drain immediately and let drain.

    Clean, peel and slice the carrots finely. Peel garlic and chop finely. Mix soy sauce and honey. Add garlic and Sambal Oelek and stir into the mixture. Mix the salad ingredients and vinaigrette and leave to stand for a while.

    Wash the salmon and dab dry. Heat the fat in a frying pan and fry the salmon on both sides for 3-5 minutes at medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange salad and salmon on a plate.

    Wash the sprouts, drain and spread over the fish. Serve garnished with parsley as desired.
