Apple compote

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 firm apples (approx. 200g each)
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Raisins
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 100 ml Egg liqueur
  • 7-10 Tbsp Apple slices and mint

Directions

    Peel and quarter apples and cut out the core. Cut the apple quarters first into columns, then into cubes. Drizzle with lemon juice. Boil 1/4 litre of water. Add apples, raisins, sugar and cinnamon and cook for about 10 minutes.

    Let it cool down. Whip cream and vanilla sugar until stiff. Arrange compote with whipped cream and advocaat. Serve garnished with apple wedges and mint.
