Apple and onion lard with marjoram

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 7-10 Tbsp (each containing about 500 ml):
  • 2-3 Onions
  • 1 big apple
  • 250 g Goose fat
  • 500 g Pork flomen (to be turned by the butcher)
  • 1/2 potty fresh marjoram (or 1 tsp dried marjoram)
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Salt

Directions

    Onions peel and cut into cubes. Wash the apple, quarter it, remove the core and dice the apple as well. Cut goose fat into pieces and heat it together with the pork flomen in a pot. When the greaves start to brown, add the onions and fry. Take the lard from the stove and put the apple cubes into the hot fat.

    Wash the marjoram, dab dry, pluck the leaves from the stalks and also add to the lard. Finally add some salt and fill the lard into small bowls. Let it cool down a little. Place in the refrigerator to set. Give away nicely packed
