Aniseed snowflakes (diabetics)

Ingredients

Servings: 42
  • 125 g soft butter or margarine
  • 60 g Diabetic sweetness
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few drops of butter vanilla aroma
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS ground aniseed
  • 125 g Cornstarch
  • 60 g Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Clear film
  • baking paper

Directions

    Mix fat, 50 g diabetic sweetener, butter-vanilla flavour and aniseed until creamy. Mix starch and flour, stir in half. Knead the rest and 1-2 tablespoons of ice-cold water with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Quarter the dough. Form each into a roll, wrap in foil and refrigerate for approx. 30 minutes.

    Cut each roll into 10 pieces and form into cherry-sized balls. Place on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Press slightly flat with a fork. Bake the trays one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 12-15 minutes until light brown. Allow to cool and dust with 10 g diabetic sweetener
