Preparation: Beat the eggs, 125 g sugar, 1 packet of vanillin sugar and salt until thick and creamy. Mix quark, lemon peel and cream. Stir in pudding powder. Fold in the sugar and egg mixture. Line the hollows of a muffin tray (12 hollows) with paper sleeves and fill in the dough. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 35-45 minutes. Remove and let cool on a cake rack.
In the meantime put 12 cherries aside for decoration. Cut the remaining Amarena cherries into small pieces. Mix mascarpone, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, sour cream and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Stir in the cherries. Put the cream in a cool place. Before serving, pour the cream onto the muffins with an ice-cream scoop and decorate with some Amarena syrup and a cherry
