Ingredients

  • 3 discs (à approx. 75 g) deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 50 g Walnut kernel halves
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 coated Tsp Cinnamon
  • 30 g Butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

    Place the puff pastry slices next to each other and defrost. Roughly chop the nuts. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Melt butter

    Place puff pastry slices on top of each other and roll out thinly on a floured work surface in a rectangular shape (approx. 25 x 35 cm). Straighten the sides. Brush the dough with butter, then sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon and nuts. Fold both long sides towards the middle 2 x

    Cut the puff pastry into approx. 20 slices and place them on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Let the auricles cool down on a cake rack
