Vitello Tonnato on wholemeal bread

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 can(s) (80 g) Tuna fillets in oil
  • 50 g Salad Mayonnaise
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 4 discs wholemeal bread (à approx. 40 g)
  • 8 discs cooked roast veal (à approx. 30 g)
  • 8 Caper apples

Directions

    Drain the tuna in a sieve. Put the mayonnaise and tuna in a tall cup and puree finely. Season to taste with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Halve slices of bread and cover each with 1 slice of veal.

    Add the sauce and garnish with caper apples.
