Vanilla pudding with cherry-apricot salad

Ingredients

  • 500 ml Milk
  • 1 package Pudding powder "Vanilla Flavor"
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 150 g Apricots
  • 150 g Cherries
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Orange liqueur
  • 50 g Dark chocolate
  • 25 g crushed pistachio kernels

Directions

    Take 6 tablespoons of the milk and stir the pudding powder and sugar with it until smooth. Boil up the rest of the milk. Remove from the stove. Stir in the pudding powder, heat up again and let it boil for 1 minute while stirring. Separate the egg.

    Stir egg yolk into the pudding. Beat egg white until stiff and fold in. Pour the pudding into 4 pudding moulds (200 ml capacity) rinsed with cold water and chill for 4 hours. Wash apricots and cherries, put some cherries aside for decoration. Remove the rest of the cherries. Stone the fruits. Cut apricots into slices. Drizzle with orange liqueur and leave to stand for 1 hour. Peel curls from the chocolate with a peeler. Dip pudding moulds briefly in hot water and turn out onto plates.
