Bring 1/2 l milk, 50 g sugar, cinnamon sticks and orange peel to the boil briefly in a saucepan. Let it cool down.
Bread crust and grate or grind. Mix 200 g bread crumbs with eggs, 50 g sugar and approx. 5 tablespoons milk to a thick mass.
Heat the oil to 180°C in a deep frying pan or wide pot. Form approx. 18 dumplings from the mixture with 2 tablespoons and deep-fry in portions in the hot oil for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
Briefly heat the milk again. Add the Repápalos and let everything cool down. Arrange the Repápalos with the milk in small bowls and dust with cinnamon. Drink: Café solo.
