Cut ##dates## lengthwise, remove the stones. Fill half of the dates with 1 ##almond## each and wrap each with 1 slice of bacon.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the bacon dates for 2-3 minutes on medium heat until the bacon is crispy. Drain on kitchen paper.
Cut the gorgonzola into about 20 longish pieces and fill them into the remaining dates.
