Ingredients

  • 2 red onions
  • 1 red pepper
  • 100 g Edam cheese
  • 250 g Cucumber
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Vinegar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 4 discs Baguette (approx. 25 g each)
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 2 stem(s) Marjoram (or 1 tsp dried marjoram)
  • 4 leaves Endive salad

Directions

    For the salad, peel onions and cut them into thin rings. Clean, wash and chop the peppers. Dice the cheese as well. Wash the cucumber and cut into small sticks. Season the vinegar with salt, pepper and sugar and add oil.

    Mix the prepared ingredients with the vinaigrette. Spread bread with fat, sprinkle marjoram leaves on top. Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 ° C/ gas: level 4) until golden brown. Wash the salad leaves.

    Cover sandwiches with it. Spread cheese salad on top.
