Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 3 Beefsteaks (approx. 200 g each)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 red onions
  • 1–2 red chillies
  • 5 Stem(s) Coriander
  • 4 Stem(s) Thai Basil
  • 1 (approx. 250 g) small frisée salad
  • 1 (approx. 150 g) Roman salad heart
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Lime juice
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Sesame Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar

Directions

    Wash the meat and dab dry. Heat oil in a pan. Fry meat for approx. 8 minutes, turning. In the meantime peel onions and cut them into thin slices. Cut the chilli pepper lengthwise, remove the seeds and cut lengthwise into thin strips.

    Wash the coriander and basil, dab dry and remove the leaves. Pluck the leaves a little smaller, except for a few for garnishing. Clean and wash the salad and pluck into bite-sized pieces. Remove the meat and season with salt and pepper.

    Mix soy sauce and lime juice. Fold in sesame oil drop by drop. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Cut meat into thin slices and mix with salad, chilli, onions, herbs and dressing.

    Arrange salad in bowls. Garnish with leaves.
