Tex-Mex skewers with country potatoes

Ingredients

  • 800 g Pork neck (with bone)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS + some oil
  • 2 TEASPOONS Mexico Spice
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 100-125 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 4-8 Metal skewers

Directions

    Remove the meat from the bone, wash, dab dry and cut into bite-sized cubes. Mix 2 tbsp. oil and 1 tsp. Mexico spice. Turn the meat cubes in it and marinate for about 30 minutes. Peel onions and cut into slices, bacon into slices

    Wash the potatoes thoroughly, peel them if necessary and quarter them lengthwise. Mix with about 1 teaspoon of Mexico spice and spread on an oiled baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for about 10 minutes.

    Put meat, bacon and onions alternately on skewers. Slide them over the potatoes on the oven rack. Fry everything else for about 35 minutes. Turn over in the meantime if necessary. Arrange everything. Paprika sour cream and colourful salad go well with it
