T-bone steak with jalapeño butter and baked beans

Ingredients

  • 1 glass (215 g) Jalapeños in rings
  • 250 g soft butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, freshly ground black pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp 2 T-bone steaks (approx. 800 g each)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS clarified butter
  • 2 tin(s) (415 g) baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 4 Stem(s) flat leaf parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp parchment paper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    For the butter, place the jalapeños in a sieve, drain well and chop finely. Stir the jalapeños into the butter. Season with salt and pepper. Form into a roll with the help of parchment paper. 1⁄4 Wrap the butter in aluminium foil and chill.

    Freeze the rest wrapped in foil.

    Preheat oven (electric cooker: 100 °C/circulating air and gas: not suitable). Pat steaks dry. Heat 2 tablespoons of clarified butter in a large pan. Fry 1 steak on each side over high heat for approx. 2 minutes.

    Season with salt and pepper and place on a baking tray. Heat 1 tbsp. lard in the frying fat. 2. fry and season the steak in the same way. Place on the baking tray. Roast in the hot oven for about 18 minutes.

    In the meantime, warm the beans in a pot. Wash parsley, shake dry, chop. Mix with the beans. Cut the cold butter roll into slices. Arrange steaks with butter and beans.
