Sweet and sour pork

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 Head broccoli
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 100 g red onions
  • 1 red and yellow pepper
  • 1 can(s) (284 g net content) Water chestnuts
  • 300 g Pineapple
  • 400 g Pork tenderloin
  • 200 g Basmati Rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 20 ml Soy sauce
  • 1 TABLESPOON sweet-sour Asian sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Spring onion

Directions

    Clean, wash and cut the broccoli into small florets. Blanch the florets in boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes. Take them out and let them drain well in a sieve. Peel onions and cut into rings. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into small pieces. Drain chestnuts in a sieve. Peel pineapple, cut out hard stalk. Cut the flesh into small pieces. Wash the flesh, dab dry and cut into bite-sized cubes

    Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Season meat with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a large pan with a high rim or a wok. Fry the meat for about 3 minutes while turning it. Add the onions and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add pineapple, bell pepper, broccoli and chestnuts and fry for about 3 minutes. Deglaze with soy sauce and sweet-sour sauce. Season to taste with sugar and pepper

    Clean and wash the spring onion and cut into thin rings. Drain rice. Put 1/4 of the rice into a coffee cup and turn it over into the middle of a plate. Do the same with the rest of the rice. Arrange meat pan around the rice. Sprinkle with spring onion rings
