Ingredients

Servings: -1
  • 200 g dried apricots
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 2 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 125 g + 75 g soft butter/margarine
  • 100 g chopped almonds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 12 Chocolate coconut bar (e.g. Bounty)
  • 50 g Icing sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Coconut flake
  • 1 TABLESPOON Chocolate flakes
  • baking paper

Directions

  1. 1

First cut the apricots into small pieces. For the dough, put flour, baking powder, eggs, sugar, vanillin sugar, quark and salt in a large mixing bowl. Cut 125 g fat into pieces and put it into the bowl with almonds and apricots, except for 2 tbsp. Now knead all ingredients first with the dough hooks of the hand mixer and then with your hands to a smooth dough

  2. 2

Now preheat the oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / circulating air: 175 °C / gas: level 3). Form the dough into a roll and cut it into six equally sized pieces. Form the pieces into balls and then press each piece flat on the work surface to form a rectangle (approx. 12 x 15 cm). Or roll out the dough pieces with a cake roll on a lightly floured work surface

  3. 3

Now place 2 bounties lengthwise next to each other on a rectangle. Fold the dough over from one long side and press the edges together well. Place the bounties on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Put it in the oven and bake the Stollen for 25-30 minutes. Let them cool down a little on the grill

  4. 4

Melt 75 g fat in a pot. Spread the liquid fat evenly on the studs with a brush. Put the icing sugar in a sieve and dust the stollen with it. Sprinkle them with remaining apricots, coconut and chocolate shavings. You can give the stollen as a present by wrapping them in foil
