Stuffed potatoes with matie's \"housewife style\"

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4-6 large new potatoes (about 150 g each)
  • 4 herring fillets (approx. 75 g each)
  • 1 (approx. 150 g) Apples
  • 4 Gherkins (from the jar)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 2-3 Spring onions
  • 200 g Sour cream or herb quark
  • 4-6 Tbsp Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Dill, lettuce and lemon

Directions

    Wash new potatoes very thoroughly and boil them in water for about 25 minutes. Dab the matie fillets dry with kitchen paper, then cut them into bite-sized pieces

    2 . Wash apple, quarter it, remove core. Cut cucumber and apple into small cubes, mix with lemon juice. Clean and wash spring onions, cut into fine rings

    Mix apple and cucumber with matie and spring onions. Mix the sour cream and milk into the matie salad and season with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar

    Drain the potatoes, quench them, cut them lengthwise and break them open a little. Fill with matie salad and garnish with dill, lettuce leaves and lemon
