Stuffed pita bread

Ingredients

  • 100 g Pork escalope
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 TEASPOONS Gyros spice
  • 1 (65 g) Tomato
  • 125 g Iceberg lettuce
  • 1 (approx. 30 g) small onion
  • 1 (approx. 65 g) Sandwich tote bag
  • 1/2 package (100 g) Tsatsiki quark (40% fat in dry matter)
  • 7-10 Tbsp s

Directions

    Rinse meat cold, dab dry and cut into narrow strips. Mix oil and gyros spice and place in a bowl with the meat. Marinate for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, clean and wash the tomato and salad.

    Cut the tomato into eighths, cut the salad into strips. Peel onion and cut into rings. Mix everything together. Heat the frying pan and fry the marinated meat in it at medium heat for about 5 minutes.

    Brush the sandwich toast bag with water and cut in half crosswise. Heat in the toaster at medium setting for 2-3 minutes. Fill the pockets with salad, meat and quark and sprinkle with pepper if necessary.

    Arrange on a plate and serve garnished as desired with lettuce leaves and tomato wedges.
