Strawberry-kiwi jam with orange liqueur and mint

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Strawberries
  • 500 g Kiwis
  • 15 Mint leaves
  • 1.5 kg Gelling sugar
  • 4 cl Orange liqueur

Directions

    Wash strawberries cold and drain well. Remove the stalk and halve or quarter the strawberries depending on their size

    Peel the kiwis, quarter them lengthwise and cut into pieces. Wash the mint leaves, dab dry and cut into strips

  3. 3

    Mix strawberries and kiwis in a large pot with preserving sugar and leave to soak for 3-4 hours

  4. 4

    Then bring to the boil while stirring and boil for 4 minutes until bubbly. Remove the pot from the stove and make a gelling test

  5. 5

    Stir mint and orange liqueur into the hot jam, immediately fill into clean glasses and close tightly
